The survey which has been paid for by English Heritage is being undertaken on behalf of local archaeological enthusiasts in order to provide interpretive information regarding this little known but culturally important site.

Managing Director of Arrow Geophysics, Tim Archer said,“We are delighted to have been approached to undertake this work in Steventon, Hampshire on a culturally important site. We undertake archaeological work for a number of prestigious clients in addition to our building and engineering based operations. Jane was born here in December 1775 and we are sure there will be some unexpected discoveries when we undertake the survey.”
